About the Artist: Francisco Palomares is a first-generation Mexican American artist. His dep appreciation for art was sparked by observing the bibrant murals created by Chicano artists in his East L.A. neighborhood. These powerful murals captured his Latino community's beauty, strength, and essence, influencing his artistic journey. Palomares's artistic mission is to document the Mexican American Experience.
Palomares's artwork has been showcased in prestigious gallery and museum exhibitions, including The Cheech Center, Mingei International Museum, Los Angeles Mexican Consulate, and Armory Center. He is also a recipient of the LA Lakers in the paint competition and has served as an artist in residence at Quinn Emmanuel Law Firm.
